200 yards from the farm are the Burton Dassett Hills and the Fox Covert, a small wooded area, which is an ideal location to enjoy peace and tranquility before relaxing at one of the two local public houses, each of which are within easy walking distance from the farm. The farm is also only a very short walk from a 13th century church which is well worth a visit.
A short drive away is Edgehill, one of the battlefields of the English Civil War, and a short distance from the centres of Stratford on Avon, Warwick (noted for its wonderful castle), Leamington Spa and Banbury, with the cities of Coventry, Birmingham and Oxford only a little further.
Besides the nearby Centenary Way, walkers may want to visit and enjoy a stroll along the Oxford Canal near Fenny Compton, approximately 4 miles away, or venture southwest to the beautiful Cotswold Hills.
